The "Leonardo da Vinci’s Atlantic Codex” Exhibition

The History Museum, part of the National Slovak Museum will host the next edition of the “Leonardo da Vinci’s Atlantic Codex” international exhibition - in the Hoepli 1894-1904 edition by the Accademia dei Lincei – which also features machines from the Leonardo Museum in Vinci.
The Castle of Bratislava, protagonist of an important page in central European history, symbol of the city of Bratislava and contemporary Slovakia, will be opening its halls especially for the event.
The exhibition will unfurl along a route measuring over 90 metres and covering a surface area of approx. 500 m2.

The illustrations from the Atlantic Codex – in the Hoepli 1894-1904 edition by the Accademia dei Lincei – will be flanked by a significant selection of Leonardo’s machines constructed in the ‘50s for the Leonardo Museum in Vinci: one of the most prestigious collections of models from Leonardo's codices.
The exhibition also includes a number of the most advanced results in technical and scientific research, thus comparing the birth of modern science with contemporary science.
Calearo Group – side by side with other Italian and European companies - a leader in its sector will be present at the exhibition with a number of high-tech products that will help the visitor to comprehend the degree of progress achieved since the Renaissance.

Calearo Group has wanted to make a rightful contribution to this exhibition, recognising its huge value from a cultural point of view and especially appreciating the useful parallels that can be drawn between our great past and the promising future of modern science.

The exhibition will be open from 28.04.06 to 15.09.06 during the high point of the tourist season when it is estimated that tens of thousands of visitors will flock to see the event.
After the exhibition in Innsbruck (2004), Budapest (2005), Rome (2005) and the next one in Bratislava, the exhibition will continue its journey through Europe stopping in various cities including Belgrade, Zagreb, Barcelona and Madrid.
